Do you use
professional equipment?
We use Sony broadcast digital 3-chip cameras. These are the same broadcast
cameras that you see on network television. The quality of the image
produced by these cameras far exceeds the quality that most wedding
videographers use. In our opinion, the quality of the image directly
reflects on our reputation. That is why we have been using broadcast
equipment since 1982.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes. You can rest assured that a duplicate set of our primary equipment is
brought to each and every affair. Every second of your once-in-a-lifetime
affair is important to us and no chances will be taken.
What format do you use? Is it digital?
Yes. We use DVCAM and BetaCam. These are Sony's two proprietary broadcast
formats. We shoot and edit everything digitally to preserve the image
quality throughout. These formats are superior to S-VHS, VHS, Hi-8,
digital-8, 8mm, mini-DV, DV, and DVC-PRO.
Do you include special effects?
A variety of special effects are used during the production of all of our
tapes. We have 2D/3D effects (over 1000). These include page-turns,
page-curls, fly-ins, fly-outs, explosions, particles, slow-motion, black
and white, and many more. We can even create custom effects upon request.
Do you incorporate animation?
We have thousands of pieces of animation. We normally do use animations
but are happy to customize the type and amount of animation to suit your
desires. You can choose from 3D beveled titles to romantic or funny
animated scenes.
Do you put baby pictures on the video?
Photo montages are available in most packages. We incorporate pictures,
video, titles, animation, special effects and music to tell a "story-book
tale"™ of you and you fiancé's growing up.
Do you use wireless microphones?
We use the latest in UHF technology. This technology provides
crystal-clear transmissions over long distances and, since it is
broadcast, it will not interfere with the church's or entertainment's
equipment. In addition to putting a microphone on the groom's lapel, we
will use a wireless microphone on the readers, singers, or wherever
necessary. At the reception we will get a direct feed from the DJ or band
- this will provide CD-quality sound. Most videographers don't pay enough
attention to the audio, "we do".
Can I customize my video?
All of our packages include customization. You can choose titles (over
1000 fonts and styles), animation, music, etc. Please ask about other
customizations. We are eager to provide you with exactly the video you
want.
Do you interview our guests?
We will be happy to interview your guests if you desire. We consider this
your personal choice but will discuss with you the methods of conducting
these interviews. We strive to make your guests feel comfortable and not
"on-the-spot".
Is there a recap?
We can do two types of recaps. The first is a sequence of still shots from
the video of the most important scenes of the day. The second type is
slow-motion recap that is a "must see". Both versions can be complemented
with music of your choice and credits of your bridal party.
Do you stay the entire time?
We stay until the absolute end of the affair. And if you choose to extend
your affair we will be available.
Do you use bright lights?
No, you do not have to worry about the ambience of your affair. We never
use lights at your ceremony and we only use a SOFT 20 watt on-camera light
at the reception. You will NEVER see light poles !!
Do I need two cameras?
The short answer is no. We can capture your affair with one camera no
problem. With our state-of-the-art editing equipment, it will seem as if
there were multiple cameras. However, additional cameras will provide a
more polished look to the final product. For example, a second camera in a
balcony could get that "Princess Diana" shot of the back of your wedding
gown as you walk down the isle, and shots of the primary people in the
wedding party while dissolving to the bride and groom at the same time, or
a picture in a picture effect and much-much more.
Are you insured?
We are licensed and fully insured. Copies can be faxed to your reception
hall upon request.
